The Councilor for Education, David Martínez Noguera, asked this Friday, August 31, the Ministry of Education to eliminate the prefabricated classrooms of schools in Cartagena for the new year 2018-2019.
According to has calculated the council that David Noguera directs, this year there will be more barracks than the previous one due to the lack of space, reaching to surpass the ten.
Some of the centers in which these prefabricated classrooms are located are San Cristobal del Bohío and the Los Molinos Institute, the councilor explained.
Noguera explained that from the City of Cartagena are finishing the maintenance work that has been extended until this week with the aim of the next September 7 are the educational facilities in perfect condition.
Likewise, the mayor has asked the regional government to eliminate the fiber cement, since this action is already being done in other municipalities and not in Cartagena, which affects centers such as José María La Puerta and the El Cano Institute.
On the other hand, stressed that there are several schools waiting to have school canteens such as Vicente Ros and Gabriela Mistral, so he has asked the government of the Autonomous Community to carry out the planned actions.
