The Local Government Board, meeting this morning, under the presidency of the mayor, Ana Belén Castejón, has approved the executive project of musealization of the Ethnographic Museum of Los Puertos de Santa Bárbara.
As explained by the Councilor for Rural Development, Obdulia Gómez, the procedure will allow the quick contracting of the works, which have an execution budget of about 59,000 euros, of which 50,000 correspond to the subsidy granted by the Campoder association, within European Leader helps.
Gómez has also indicated that soon, after the end of the festivities in the town, the dismantling of the pieces that make up the current museum will begin, to keep them for the duration of the execution of the new musealization project.
This contemplates the extension in about 20 square meters of the exhibition area and the perimeter paneling of its perimeter, to take advantage of window areas.
The most novel will be the internal partition, which will be arranged diagonally, with corridors in which the various elements of the museum will be happening, in the form of a labyrinth in which the visitor will be able to appreciate and understand the ethnographic evolution of the Campo de Cartagena.
The project also includes a novel lighting and aeration system.
The councilor has affirmed that it will be a very ecological project, since, for example, since there will be a natural system of forced ventilation that will prevent the installation of an air conditioning.
He also pointed out that the executive project already contains the technical contracting requirements, so the process will be abbreviated by simply subtracting the preparation of an administrative document, before proceeding to its next tender.
URBANIZATION BUENOS AIRES
The Governing Board has also approved the generation of a credit of 500,000 euros in the municipal budgets of 2018, which will be used to carry out various works in the Buenos Aires Urbanization of Molinos Margafones.
As explained by the Councilor for Public Services, Juan Pedro Torralba, is the amount from the endorsement that had provided the promoter of the urbanization to ensure the completion of the works, and that has been executed by the City.
With charge to that amount, the start-up of the installation of public lighting, whose cable had been stolen, will be undertaken.
It will also be used in the construction of the sanitation network and predictably, according to the councilor, in the construction of the access roundabout.
Once the works are completed the City Council will assume its maintenance, as explained by the councilor, who has highlighted the satisfactory response that has been given from the municipal government to the claims of the neighbors, which Torralba visited and could see the precarious situation in what was the urbanization.
MARKET OF TIME
The Government Board has also approved the negotiated tender with advertising of the Market of Time that will take place from 9 to 11 November in streets and squares of the Historic District.
Specifically, the specifications for bidding for the public domain occupation permit for special use of the streets have been approved, and a company specializing in this type of events will be sought for adjudication, which should propose the historical period to the that this year will be dedicated.
The Market of the Historic Quarter has been held for seventeen editions, with great public acceptance and has served to revitalize the city center in all its aspects.

TEMPORARY ASSIGNMENT OF TERENS
The Governing Board has also approved the free acceptance of cession of about 12,000 square meters of companies of the EMASA group in the Partial Plan of the Rambla de Benipila, to host activities and fair attractions of the Carthaginians and Romans parties.
The transfer is made in precarious and until the end of the holidays, on September 30.
TECHNICAL REPORT FOR THE AWARD OF GARDENS
The Governing Board has also agreed to request a technical report on the material and economic feasibility of the improvements offered by the company proposed by the Municipal Contracting Committee for the conservation and improvement of gardens and trees in Cartagena.
The report must determine if the improvement offered, which has largely served to assess its proposal widely, can actually be carried out, after which the Governing Board will proceed to its award at a future meeting.
SUBSIDIES
The Governing Board has also approved the payment of a subsidy of 170,000 euros to the Cartagena consortium, Puerto de Culturas, for its operation.
It has also granted another 9,000 euros to the neighborhood association of the Sector Station to defray the cost of renting the social premises and one of 40,000 euros for the operation of the Federation of Neighborhood Associations, Consumers and Users, Cartagena and Fernando Garrido
RECYCLING OF ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES
A collaboration agreement has also been approved for the management of waste electrical and electronic equipment between the manager REINICIA and the City of Cartagena.
The purpose of this agreement is to adapt to the current regulations on the removal of waste of this type of equipment and is added to others that has signed the consistory with authorized managers for the removal of waste, to avoid dangers on the environment and allow its recycling or reuse.
CONVENTION AND GRANT FOR FOOTBALL ROOM
The Governing Board has also approved an aid of 100,000 euros for the football club of the city Carthago Sala 2013, which plays in the first national division with the name of Jimbee Cartagena, together with an agreement on the use of municipal facilities of the Municipal Sports Pavilion and the Sports Palace, for training and sporting events.
Its validity will last until October 2019.
CONVENTION AND SUBSIDY TO CARTAGENA
The Governing Board has also approved the agreement to use the Cartagonova Municipal Stadium by FC Cartagena.
It reflects the obligations of each of the parties and facilitates the session free tickets to meetings for distribution to school and sports and social entities in the city.
It is an agreement similar to those previously subscribed with the club and that allows to reconcile its use by the City Council or other clubs, when it is necessary.
The City Council also reserves the use of certain facilities.
Together with this agreement another has been approved with the FC Cartagena Foundation for the promotion of football, training of young players and collaboration with grassroots clubs, for which the City Council provides an amount of 50,000 euros.
Finally, and among other matters, the extension of the deadline for the application of subsidies to sports entities and associations has been approved, which the City Council holds annually.
Initially, one of five days had been established, which has now been extended to ten, to make it easier for applicants.
