Neighborhood concern for water service
In light of the recent communication from the water concessionaire, Hidrogea, to the neighbors, requesting their collaboration to inform about the kind of material existing in the connection of said service to their respective homes.
Thus, Juan Francisco Terrones said that "the majority of homes in our area are old cooperatives and other scattered places, with a construction that, in most cases, exceeds fifty years."
In this way, the vocalist from Cartagena said that this news "has raised the alert of our neighbors, since it is an issue that should have been solved in 2003, when Royal Decree 140/2003 was passed, urging the elimination of this type of materials ".
Therefore, the representative of MC questioned the presidency if these incidents affect a large number of neighbors, as well as the location of them.
In this regard, he requested that the responsible councilor, Juan Pedro Torralba, be required to provide data and analysis of the water in the area.
Recovery of windmills in El Algar
Months ago, the mayor in charge of Culture and Heritage, David Martínez, announced that the recovery of some windmills in the municipality would be undertaken, without further specification.
Due to this issue, the MC Cartagena member requested to know the number of mills cataloged in the deputation of El Algar and the arrangements, if they have been made, made by the Neighborhood Board for the local government to act on them, in the case of municipal ownership, or through negotiations in private ownership.
