On Saturday, August 18, the 14th edition of the Cross Mining was held, organized by the Department of Sports of the City of Cartagena, in collaboration with the Neighborhood Board of this deputation, in which the runners Marco Alcaraz and Miren Eguzkiñe Asìazu took control of the first positions and got the Grand Prize Spanish Association of Transplant.
The race was held starting at 19:00 and had a route of 8.5 kilometers, with a difference of 225 meters, which came out and had the goal in the vicinity of the Casa del Pueblo.
During the development of the race the athletes toured the mining routes of the deputation of Llano del Beal and its surrounding places.
The fastest in finishing was Marco Alcaraz, of the Cartagena Triathlon, with a time of 32:54.
After him, Enrique Yépez, finishing in 33:12, followed by Dorian Ribas, of Team Sural Andalucía, in 33:29.
For the female side, the victory went to Miren Eguzkiñe Aspiazu, in 38:48, ahead of the athlete of the UCAM Cartagena María Garnés, in 39:26, as well as Rachael Rozhdestvenskaya, of the Cuatro Santos Cartagena, who stopped the clock in 40:03
During the test and the presentation of trophies was present the Councilor of the Municipal Government, Carmen Martín del Amor.
