The Neighborhood Board of Perin will hold an ordinary Plenary this evening.
It will be, specifically, in the Old Treasury of La Torre de Nicolás Pérez.
There, the spokesman of MC Cartagena, Juan Agüera, will present a total of six initiatives aimed at improving services for residents of this population center of the deputation.
Among the main complaints, Agüera will request that telecommunication services be improved in the area, since the residents of La Torre de Nicolás Pérez, ten years after the analogical blackout, receive the television signal in a deficient and precarious manner.
All this is aggravated, despite the installation of repeaters in Perín and El Portús, when located in one of the so-called 'shadow zones', which prevents the nearly three hundred neighbors, most of them advancing in age, who live in the 150 homes in the area enjoy quality service.
In this sense, and in order to solve this problem, the member of the Cartagena training will propose the start of a new file under Law 45/2007 for the placement of repeaters in the aforementioned site to reinforce and improve the quality of the coverage of telecommunications in this retirement area for the elderly, in which there is no other leisure activity.
Via Crucis on the Camino de la Viper and improvement in infrastructure
In the same way, and taking care of the demands of the residents, MC Cartagena will request by means of a motion the installation, in collaboration with public and neighborhood entities,
of a Via Crucis from the Camino de las Víboras to the niche of San Nicolás, thus consolidating one of the ancestral customs in La Torre de Nicolás Pérez.
On the other hand, Juan Agüera will raise various initiatives in the field of infrastructure.
Specifically for the improvement of the accesses and the public lighting in dispersed nuclei of houses in the Ravine of the Hell, located in the Tower, and the place of the Flowers, in Perín.
He will also ask about the condition of the road in the kilometric section on the RM.E-26 road, from Cuesta Blanca to La Corona, of regional competition and just over a kilometer and a half in length.
Strengthening security in the face of a new wave of robberies
Finally, the MC's vocalist, María Isabel Beltrán, will demand, once again, that security in the western zone be reinforced by increasing the number of agents of the Civil Guard and the Local Police.
All this due to the recent rise in robbery and theft crimes that have materialized in recent weeks.
