The Festival of the Spanish Song of Molino Derribao starts this Friday, August 17, with the reading of the proclamation that will be borne by the mayor of Education, Youth and Culture, David Martinez.
The town of Molino Derribao Cartagena celebrates this year the 25th anniversary of this event organized in collaboration with the City of Cartagena.
As a novelty and to commemorate the silver anniversary of the festival, during the two days in which it takes place, Fran Rivero's Orchestra will be on stage.
It will be this Friday, August 17, when the qualifying phase will be held, whose evening will conclude the performance of Araceli Campillo accompanied by the guitar of Luis Calderito.

On the following day, on Saturday, August 18, the festival's big night will be celebrated with the celebration of the final phase of the contest.
The artist Juan Antonio Valderrama, will close the XXV national festival of the Spanish Song, just as his father, Juanito Valderrama, did 25 years ago.
Also, in this 25th anniversary the prizes have increased their amount.
Thus, the Silver Mill - first classified - will receive 3,000 euros.
There will also be four prizes endowed with 1,500 euros, 1,000 euros, 800 euros and 600 euros, respectively.
