Officials of the Fire Fighting Service of the City of Cartagena intervened on the morning of Wednesday in the fire of a security van that was making its route.
Originated in the van engine while it was at the corner of Jorge Juan street and Juan Fernández street, the fire was initially contained by the vehicle's own security guards, who used a powder extinguisher.
At the arrival of the crew, a Heavy Urban Bomb with four firemen, a driver and a corporal, these continued with the work of extinction, dismantling the hood to access the engine and refresh it completely.
Meanwhile, one of the firefighters had to attend to a security guard applying ocular serum to clean the remains of chemical dust he had after applying the extinguisher.
