The fourteenth edition of the Cross Mine Llano del Beal already has the measured tracks and arranged for the runners to participate, once again, in this already consecrated race for the incomparable setting of the mining route of this council.
In addition, the Mining Trekking test is strengthened as a solidarity and sports event to meet its sixth year.
The presentation of both events took place on the morning of this Friday, August 3, and has run by the mayor of Sports, Obdulia Gómez;
from the president of the Club Deportiva Minera, Bienvenido Gallego, and the technical coordinator of the event, Juan Ernesto Peña.
The XIV edition of the Cross Mining, which is part of the initiative 'Sports in the Arena' of the Department of Sports of the City of Cartagena, will be held next Saturday, August 18, at 19:00.
Along its 8.5 kilometers - with a difference of 225 meters - the athletes will travel the mining routes of the deputation of Llano del Beal and its surrounding areas.
In addition, in this edition, the Grand Prize Spanish Association of Transplanted will fall on the top three classified in the male and female categories.
In this event, which is designed to involve runners of all ages, it is expected that there will be a participation of more than 1,000 people, which will be coordinated by a hundred volunteers.
Those who prefer a walking tour outside the category of competition have the possibility of marching through the Llano del Beal, "enjoying these interesting places of miners offered by the deputation Cartagena," as pointed out by the mayor of Sports, Obdulia Gómez, on the hiking trail that will take place on August 17, starting at 6:30 p.m.
In addition, Gómez has highlighted that in the environment and for the reason of the Victoria Cave "they have filled out panels and posters indicating all the animals that were in this area in the Pleistocene", a motif that is also reflected in the poster of the test sporty.
The solidary nature of the test is evident in the central trophies, but this event also allocates part of its collection to the Phone of Hope and promotes the knowledge of a rare disease such as Angelman Syndrome.
As pointed out by the technical coordinator of the sporting event, Juan Ernesto Peña, one of the central axes of the sporting event is the children, "that's why we bet for a few reduced inscriptions for this sector that have remained at two euros", in previous races Up to seven exits have been established to accommodate all minor runners.
The inscriptions are still open and can be made through the website of the Athletics Federation of the Region of Murcia.
