The festivities of Lesser Islands begin next Saturday, August 4, with some of its first activities, which will run throughout the month of August.
It will be Sunday 5, when the mayor of Celebrations, Juan Pedro Torralba, pronounce the proclamation that will start, officially, the festivities of Lesser Islands 2018. The opening ceremony will begin at 10:30 pm, the Mass will take place in honor to its patron, Our Lady of the Snows.
The activities will continue on Saturday August 11th with the Great Dance enlivened by the "Duet Duet".
It will be already on Sunday when the bicycle party begins, on a journey in this means of transport for the whole family.
The ribbon race is also scheduled for this holiday Sunday.
The Azabache Trio will liven up the night of Saturday, August 18 with their musical performance, then recreational games will be held in the same venue.
The second edition of the Sand Castle Competition, is designed for the whole family to participate, and will take place on Sunday, August 19 at the Beach next to the Mar Menor.
The artificial fire castle that presages the end of the festivities will be launched on Saturday, August 26 and the final touch to this edition will be the neighborhood dinner where each neighbor can bring a dish and it will take place on Sunday 26 of August.
