The participants in the 15th edition of Trovalia have already disembarked in Cartagena, where they have visited the Town Hall of the municipality and have been received by the municipal councilor, Ana Belén Castejón.
The Reception Hall of the Palace Hall hosted on Thursday, August 2, the welcome ceremony in which representatives of the various delegations invited on this anniversary of the Improvised Poetry Festival par excellence.
Thus, poets, musicians, repentistas - trovers all of them - come from Cuba, Puerto Rico, Panama and Colombia, in the international arena and from Gran Canaria and Malaga of the national scene, have visited the Town Hall of the port city.
In addition, Trovalia will have the participation of Grupo Trovero Mesa Café de La Unión.
The first mayor of the City of Cartagena and the councilman of Celebrations, Juan Pedro Torralaba, in addition to welcoming, have delivered a gift as a souvenir of the Town Hall and the municipality to all delegations who have attended the event.
Castejón has indicated that "we will continue working so that a festival as important as this, which now celebrates its fifteenth birthday, can continue its journey many more years."
Tonight, starting at 22:00, the Plaza del Ayuntamiento will witness the opening of the fifteenth edition of this already ingrained Festival of Improvised Oral Poetry.
In addition, during the development of this day will pay tribute to the figure of Juan Manuel Ronda, in an act in which he will be named honorary partner of the Trovera Association José María Marín "one of the creators of Trovalia and since the beginning he has supported and spread the value of the culture of the trovos ", said during the official presentation of the event the president of this association, Juan José García Parra.
The second day, on Friday, August 3, can be enjoyed at the Maritime Walk of the Crystal Sea and the third, and last, appointment with improvised oral poetry will take place on Isla Plana.
