"Accessible, transparent, innovative and modern" are the four adjectives that have been most heard at the opening of the new ONCE kiosk model, which took place this Wednesday, August 1, in Cartagena.
It is the first post of these characteristics that is installed in the municipality, within the framework of an initiative that has already begun to be implemented at the national level.
The mayor of Cartagena, Ana Belén Castejón, has attended the event to know all the details of the new kiosks that have already begun to populate the streets of the city.
The event was attended by the ONCE Territorial Delegate, Juan Carlos Morejón, the support director, Miguel Paraíso, as well as other members of the municipal corporation, such as Councilman Manuel Padín.
This kiosk meets all accessibility standards for both customers and sellers, on the right side has a door that provides accessibility and is designed to allow the wheelchair and a guide dog to enter independently.
"The image he intends to give is of great light and a lot of transparency, symbols that he shares with our institution," said the territorial delegate, Juan Carlos Morejón.
The Paseo Alfonso XIII hosts the first place of the 10 that is scheduled to be installed in the municipality during this first phase.
It is the second that has been installed in the region, since the municipality of Molina de Segura also has a renovated position.
At the national level, a hundred of these new, more accessible and transparent establishments will be installed.
The municipal councilor stressed that "these new positions meet all the conditions to move forward and achieve the highest indicators of accessibility", while adding that "it is not at odds with the new format, where they have managed to combine innovation very well, all comfort and this modern and light format, where everything fits into this first-class tourist town that is Cartagena. With this initiative it is intended that buyers can identify the workers of this institution easily, offering all the guarantees and at the same time offering a better work facility to the sellers, as explained by the support director, Miguel Paraíso.
