The City of Cartagena and Sabic will implement a protocol for action and communication before possible emergency situations, as agreed Wednesday during the meeting held by the mayor, Ana Belén Castejón, and the general director of Sabic, Juan Antonio Alemany, in the Consistorial Palace.

"The objective is to guarantee maximum communication and coordination between the company and the City Council at all times, and especially in the event of any emergency that may arise.

We want to have the maximum information to avoid social alarm in any situation, "said the mayor, Ana Belén Castejón, after the meeting.

In addition, the mayor has transferred to the general director of Sabic the requests of the Neighborhood Board of La Aljorra and has requested that both the Municipal Corporation and local representatives of this town can visit the facilities of the industrial complex after the summer, which Juan Antonio Alemany has been totally willing.
