The mayor of Cartagena, Ana Belén Castejón, has requested on Tuesday, July 31, the President of the Port Authority of Cartagena, Joaquin Segado, urgently convene a Board of Directors to inform and dispel any doubts about the privatization of the Faro de Cabo of Palos.
The mayor indicated that this morning has known through the press, the intention of Joaquín Segado to grant a private company the exploitation of a new service visits to the Faro de Cabo de Palos through the procedure of authorization and not concession.
Ana Belén Castejón explained that this system deprives the Board of Directors of the opportunity to know in what terms and conditions the service is granted, something that the mayor, who is a member of the Board of Directors of the Port Authority, considered essential.
