The councilor of the Municipal Group MC Cartagena, Ricardo Segado, has expressed his satisfaction for the communication made yesterday by the Interuniversity Council of the Region who authorized the implementation of the title of degree in Tourism at the Polytechnic University of Cartagena (UPCT).

The degree will be studied in the Faculty of Business Sciences (CIM) and will have teaching groups in English and Spanish.

Segado has congratulated the university of Cartagena for maintaining, "since 2015, a spirit of protest and proactive to achieve, along with the support of entrepreneurs and institutions, the restitution of the degree in Tourism, the only one taught in a regional public university."

"It seems logical that the municipality that attracts the greatest number of tourists in the Region and that brings together all types of tourist attraction is the headquarters of these studies."

The councilor recalled that "both in the Government and in the opposition, one of our priority lines of action has been the maximization of the municipality's tourism image."
