This morning, the deputy speaker of the MC Cartagena municipal group, Isabel García, has announced that she will ask the local government for "the degree of progress of the projects that we have promoted through our amendments in the 2018 Budget".

He continued explaining that "although the budget was finally approved on Friday, the PSOE is aware of our proposals since the beginning of May, and the initial approval of the budget took place on May 16. Therefore, more than two months so that progress has been made in the projects ".

This fact, the mayor continued, "will show if there has been work planned, two months is more than enough time to have a lot of progress and, thus, have a good number of finished projects in the drawer waiting for the tender."

"Our commitment to the Cartagena forces us to be vigilant, ensuring compliance with the amendments.We continue acting responsibly, approving a budget that, as everyone could confirm, confirms MC as the only solid option for the Government of Cartagena", said Isabel García.

The Deputy Speaker of Cartagena has encouraged the Executive of Castejón to "act from the vocation of public service." The issue is not to hinder projects to weaken the proposals of MC.The damage is caused to citizens, who deprive them of better services, seeing their quality of life diminished ".

Among the projects to which Garcia will refer, mention must be made of the pavement of the Greenway of Barrio Peral;

the storm raft of La Aljorra;

the reform of the Plaza de Alicante;

the repaving of the Alameda de San Antón;

the reform of the Plaza del Lago, or the adaptation of the surroundings of the Amphitheater.

Unpaid bills
