The administrative process to carry out the reform of the children's areas of the parks Jéssica de La Manga and Carlos III has begun with the publication of both projects in the Profile of the Contracting Party of the City of Cartagena for an amount of 154,013.24 euros.
Both are part of financially sustainable investments, as a result of the 2017 surplus.
The Jéssica park in La Manga is one of the most important in the area and it is going to reform all the space for public use that is intended for children's games.
The works have a budget of 110,000 euros and a deadline of two months from contracting.
Carlos III Street will be carried out the adaptation of the playground area of ​​the park for an amount of 44,013.24 euros.
In this green area there are two swings, three seesaws and two slides, which, together with the rest of the infrastructures, will be adapted to current regulations.
The project, which also includes a new perimeter fencing of the children's playground, has a deadline of one month, once it is hired.
The councilor of the Municipal Services Area, Juan Pedro Torralba, explained that these are the first works that will be financed with the surplus.
"The La Palma football field and the pool cover of La Aljorra are also in the process of being hired and will be financed with the surplus.
In addition, new projects will soon be uploaded to the contractor's profile, as well as the projects included in the Participatory Budgeting program of 2018, once the budget for this year has been definitively approved. "
