The works in public lighting of the deputation of La Palma have ended with the renovation of 59 points of light in a dozen of its streets: Francisco Campoy, Izquierdo, Mariano, Angel Ferrant, Abarán, Aquarium road siphon SXII T2-4, Molera , Carthagonova, Granados, Dos de Mayo, Pedro del Balso and Roldan.
The Councilor for Infrastructures and Citizen Participation, Juan Pedro Torralba, has expressed his satisfaction at having completed one of the most voted works by the residents of La Palma in the first edition of the Participatory Budgets of the City of Cartagena, "I am happy that the neighbors they can express with their votes what they want to invest part of the municipal budget and for this government it is a priority to listen and listen to their proposals ".
The investment of these works of improvement in lighting has amounted to 84,245 euros which has meant a saving of more than 50,000 euros from the initial bidding budget that amounted to 140,000 euros.
In addition, with the renewal of public lighting there is also energy saving when changing the luminaires by LED.
FOOTBALL FIELD
Juan Pedro Torralba has indicated that "with the completion of this work of the Participatory Budgets of 2017 only bidding for the construction of football field 11 artificial turf La Palma, whose project is in the profile of the contracting in open procedure until on August 6 that the deadline for submitting proposals ends ".
