The Local Police of Cartagena will work as every year for the safety of the events organized by the La Mar de Músicas Festival, which will start on the 20th and end on Saturday, July 28.
For the concerts that take place in the Torres Park, drivers are recommended to park their vehicles in the underground parking of Paseo Alfonso XII, Calle Real or Avenida de América, as well as the Hospital Plaza, next to the Antiguones building.
In total, 5 agents will reinforce daily the police service to guarantee the safety of the assistants, as well as drivers and pedestrians.
Given that most of the events take place in the old part of the city, on the part of the Local Police it is advisable to go on foot or use public transport, in order to facilitate a fluidity in the circulation.
In turn, all attendees are reminded that they can use the Panoramic Lift located on Gisbert Street to access the Torres Park, which will be open from 22:00 to 23:30 during the festival.
Those who have obtained their advance ticket or a bonus may access through Concepción Street, taking into account that in this street is prohibited the parking of vehicles and agents will ensure compliance with the Traffic and Road Safety Ordinance.
Taxis and vehicles that transport people with reduced mobility will have permission to access the entrance of Torres Park to leave passengers.
