The association Cartagena por la Caridad has launched the sale of Comprometida-Comprometido bracelets, within the events scheduled in the XII edition of its annual solidary call.
The benefits of the sales of these bracelets, which have a price of two euros, will go to seven social organizations: Messengers of Peace, the Little Sisters of the Poor, the Association of Chronic Fibromyalgia of Cartagena (AFIBROCAR), volunteers the Hope of Cartagena, the International Association of Charity San Vicente de Paul, the Association of Friends of Honduras, the Association of Aid and Research of the Personality in Cartagena Region and Mar Menor (TP Cartagena) and the Alma Bella initiative.
The Minister of Family and Equal Opportunities, Violante Tomás, honorary president of the Cartagena for Charity Association, today presented this initiative together with the president of the entity, Matías Barco.
In the act, he appealed to the solidarity of the people of Cartagena, who can help many people with their donation.
He added that "Cartagena por la Caridad is a meeting point that not only helps many organizations in the city, but also puts a face to some of those people with whom we collaborate through our donations. who care about meeting the needs of those who need it most, all for the benefit of the little ones ".
In addition to the aforementioned entities, in this edition help will be given to Alba Mota Fernández, a 9-year-old girl from Cartagena affected by an aneurysm in the vein of Galen in the brain, to Diego Martínez Rodríguez, a 9-year-old Cartagena boy affected by Epidermolysis. Bullosa or Butterfly Skin, and Lucas Pérez López, 3 years old, affected by the Deleción 1p36 Syndrome, a chromosomal anomaly characterized by distinctive facial dysmorphic features.
