Miranda is preparing to live the festivities in honor of his patron saint Santiago Apostol, with whom the City Council of Cartagena Celebrations and the Albujón-Miranda Municipal Neighborhood Board collaborate.
Between July 20 and 29, locals and visitors can enjoy the cuisine of the Campo de Cartagena, concerts and festivals every night, as well as sporting events such as the ribbon races or the cycle route and there will be activities and games to the little ones
The parade through the streets of the village to the Reciento Ferial is the first act scheduled at these parties.
On Friday, July 20, at 8:00 pm all the neighbors and clubs, accompanied by a band, will begin the parade.
At 22:00 hours, with the chupinazo and the lights of the Festival Venue, by the Municipal Neighborhood Board The Albujón-Miranda, the parties will be inaugurated.
After the presentation of the rocks, the first night of the festivities will be enlivened by the music of 'Fussion Show'.
The day of the Coronation will be celebrated on Saturday, July 21.
The festive activities will begin at 7:00 pm with a football match between singles and married.
The proclamation of the festivities will be read at 22:00 hours, then the coronation and imposition of bands will be performed at the 'Miranda 2018' honor court.
The next festive day, Sunday July 22, will come with a host of activities, which will go through: a cycle route, a paella contest, the water festival, children's tapes and the night will be for a show of 'The Magazine' .
For its part, the Association of Housewives will celebrate their day on Monday, July 23, with a meal that will take place at the restaurant Los Antonios.

On Tuesday, July 24, Miranda will celebrate a flamenco day with the performance of 'Canela en Rama'.

At midnight there will be a crumb contest.
The patron's day is celebrated this year on Wednesday, July 25.
On the festival of Santiago, the streets of the town will be visited with a Floreada Diana.
The mass in honor of the patron will be at 10:00.
A large sardine moraga has been prepared for lunchtime.
In the afternoon at 7:00 pm, Santiago will be taken out in procession.
The music of the night will be in charge of 'Renacer' and 'Lady Luna'.
On Thursday, July 26, the festivities enter their final stretch with the day dedicated to senior citizens.
For its part on Friday, July 27, a charity concert will be held.
And on Saturday, July 28, it's the turn of the Ibicencan party.
On Sunday, July 29, the festivities come to an end with the performance of the best chirigota in the area and also with the celebration of a fellowship dinner among members of the clubs, after which the awards ceremony will be held and the castle of fireworks at midnight to bid farewell to the festivities until next year.
