This morning, the MC training Cartagena renewed its commitment to one of the projects that represents Cartagena in the elite of national sport.
In this way, the general secretary and spokesman of the municipal MC Group, José López, the councilman Ricardo Segado, the president, Jesús Giménez, and the health coordinator, Andrés Martín, have gone to the offices of Cartagena Futsal to withdraw their season ticket facing the 2018/2019 season in the First Division.
The representatives of MC have been accompanied by the president of the entity, Roberto Sánchez.
Ricardo Segado said that "MC again demonstrates its commitment to the future of the entity, once it was known, in the past, that the company Plásticos Romero has decided to terminate its relationship with the club by withdrawing its sponsorship."
It should be remembered, Segado added, "that the support of MC to the Cartagena FS has been a constant since our formation acquired Government responsibilities in the spring of 2015."
In this way, through the initiative of the then Councilor for Sports, Ricardo Segado, the City Council increased the amount of money allocated to the club up to 100,000 euros.
In the same way, MC made it possible for the FS Cartagena to play its most important matches at the Palacio de los Deportes, despite the inheritance received by the previous managers of the PP.
In fact, on October 7, the meeting of maximum regional rivalry between Cartagena FS and ElPozo was held, using as location for a first level event, for the first time, the Palacio de los Deportes.
In addition, that same day, and fulfilling the plenary agreement made under the presidency of the mayor, José López, the main track was nominated with the name of Javi Matía, historical reference of the football room in Cartagena.
