The Playa de Las Sirenas in La Manga del Mar Menor hosted on Tuesday, July 10, a simulation that consisted of a person located 100 meters from the shore showing symptoms of drowning and with which they wanted to evaluate the response capacity of the different municipal media deployed for these purposes on the Cartagena coast.
The Councilor for Citizen Security, Francisco Aznar, has indicated that both the lifeguard and a jet ski have been launched for their rescue and that the Local Police and the Ambulance have arrived at the appropriate time according to the rules.
Aznar has indicated that once out of the water he has simulated a cardiopulmonary resuscitation and has shown his desire that this summer do not have to implement this type of protocols.
