Isis, the goddess of the Nile is the new nightly theatrical visit for summer nights in the Forum Quarter, which will begin this Friday, July 13.
When the sun goes down, the Barrio del Foro Romano opens its doors to seduce you in a new theatrical visit full of magic and charm.
An Egyptian priest will tell us how he came to the shores of the ancient Carthago Nova, to introduce the wisdom and mysteries of the goddess Isis brought from the exotic East.
A walk through the thermal baths accompanied by the best host of the sanctuary, will lead us to the doors of the Temple of Isis, exclusively with a very small capacity, we will know the rituals of the underground crypts related to healing through water, being able to be participants of an initiation ritual, in the magnificent Atrium Building, as it was done in that same place thousands of years ago.
The dates are July 13 and 27, and 4, 10, 15 and 24. Time: 21: 00h.
The price of the tickets is 12 euros, 6 euros for the members of the Club Cartagena Puerto de Culturas.
Another way to enjoy the night visits, following the concept of exclusivity, we propose another night activity "The Neighborhood of the Forum under the Stars".
A guided tour at night where you can visit at sunset, more than 3.000 m² of archaeological remains that through a guide will lead us through the hot springs, roads, complete buildings.
We will learn how the temples and the stars created sacred lines that served as signals for the inhabitants of the 1st century AD. This guided tour incorporates the archaeoastronomy studies carried out in Cartagena.
The dates are July 20 and August 3, 17 and 31.
These nocturnal guided tours are at 9:00 pm for a price of 10 euros, Club Cartagena Puerto de Culturas 5 euros.
In the Roman Theater Museum there are also guided and dramatized night visits.
These visits, a luxury for attendees, aim to give, in an exclusive environment, where the spectacular site is the great protagonist.
"Aulaeum, below the curtain", is the theatrical visit, where Vitruvius, the architect of antiquity will surprise us to discover the magnificent Roman constructions together with "Theater under the light of the Moon", the guided tour designed to know and visit the theater in an intimate and exclusive way are the proposals to visit the Theater Museum at night.
The dates are from July 14 and 28 and August 11 and 25 and September 8.
These nocturnal guided tours are at 9:00 pm for a price of 10 euros, Club Cartagena Puerto de Culturas 5 euros.
The passes for the dramatized visit "Aulaeum, below the curtain" are on July 21, August 18, September 1 and 15.
