The Councils of Celebration, Culture and Sports have organized for the coming months the program "Your best summer" with the aim of bringing culture and sports to all corners of the municipality, both coastal areas and neighborhoods and councils.

The presentation of this program has been carried out by the Councilor for Sports, Obdulia Gómez;

and the mayor of Culture, David Martínez Noguera.

The councilor has indicated that a special program has been organized for La Manga, Los Urrutias, Los Nietos and Mar de Cristal, where you can watch movies like Wizard of Oz, Big Fish, Lego Scooby Doo, The Smurfs and The Call.

He also recalled that from the Popular University will be offered from July 5 to August 25 the screening of the Pirates of the Caribbean movies: The Revenge of Salazar;

and La Liga de la Justicia, in neighborhoods and county councils.

In addition, the councilor pointed out that during the festival season will not miss the musical events and that during the months of July will act on the beaches of Cartagena El Sitio de mi Garaje, Los Happys, Stolen and Los Yankis, while in August they will return Stolen and The Site of my Garage and will come All Secrets and Nena Rose.

David Martínez has also highlighted the XXIX Concert of Habaneras of Cabo de Palos, which organizes the Polyphonic Choir Carthagonova with the Choir Santiago Apóstol and the Choir of Asunción, with the intervention of the Trovera Association José María Martín;

and Trovalia, the International Festival of Improvised Poetry, which will be in Cartagena, Mar de Cristal and Isla Plana.

The mayor of Culture has also announced that from July to September there will be Storytelling for Equality in various libraries, sports centers and social premises, among others;

and explained that a special gastronomic program has been launched under the name Mar Menor Gastronómico.

For its part, the mayor of Sports recalled that a plan of sports activities under the name Sports in the Arena has also been scheduled, among which we find free classes of Zumba on the beaches, baptisms of sea in sailing and peragüismo and other events sports like the Cross of Cabo de Palos, the I Open of Spain Beach Volley Adapted, the Toneo de Basquet 3x3, Acuathlon and Cross, the II Solidarity Crossing, the 18 Futvoley City of Cartagena Tournament, Mastervoley La Manga and the VI Trail Burro Perín , among others.
