The Cs Cartagena spokesperson considers that the Strategic Employment Plan is positive in many ways, but lacks ambition in some points.

Dynamization of trade

Cs Cartagena proposes to reinforce Line 5 of the Employment Plan and add a Municipal Trade Plan that includes budgetary commitments and concrete actions by the local Administration and businessmen to boost the sector.

"The final goal of this project in the medium term (2-4 years) should be to improve competitiveness, generate a collective image and promote the increase of customers to small shops in Cartagena," says Manuel Padin.

Corporate Social Responsibility

Another proposal that the Municipal Group of Citizens has included in the draft Strategic Employment Plan is the creation of a Corporate Social Responsibility program, "an initiative that Cs has presented several times in the Plenary without getting the PSOE Government to move a finger, "recalls spokesman Manuel Padín.

The purpose of this initiative is for the administration to assume the duty of agreeing and agreeing on a set of actions that favor the commitment of companies linked to the City Council for corporate or corporate social responsibility, highlighting the measures in terms of prevention of occupational risks, dignity of working conditions and respect for environmental sustainability.
