Manuel Padín explained that when he visited these facilities with his own group of experts, "we saw that there was a major problem because the pool was not insulated so that the chlorine vapor, highly corrosive, could easily spread throughout the site and damage and oxidize the entire inner cover of the Palace within a period of only four or five months. "

The Government of Cartagena, through the socialist spokesperson, Obdulia Gómez, undertook to study this situation and admitted, surprisingly, not knowing what the spokesperson for the orange formation was referring to.
