Agents of the Local Police of Cartagena detained during the dawn of Wednesday, June 27, a man who tried to steal inside a vehicle.

The events took place at 1:20 hours, when local police officers went to the area of ​​the Old Town, after receiving notice of the 092 warning about the presence of an individual who was manipulating the dashboard of a vehicle.

The 38-year-old detainee was surprised by the agents manipulating the inside of a car with a screwdriver, after breaking a glass of it.

For this reason, it was carried out to the arrest of the alleged perpetrator by local police officers, instructing police proceedings for criminal acts.

Also, Local Police of Cartagena intervened on the morning of yesterday, June 28, by a man who committed a robbery in the facilities of the Ramón Alonso Luzzy cultural center.

The events took place at 11 am where local police officers went to the place reviewed after receiving notice of the 092 warning about the theft of a bag to a municipal employee.

The author of the theft, 48 years old, was intercepted on the athletic track when he fled the scene.

The agents identified the subject and checked his police record, which stated that the man was on a request by the National Police of Murcia for a crime of robbery with force, as well as a search and seizure claim by the Court of Instruction number 7 of Alicante

For this reason, the alleged perpetrator was arrested, instructing police officers for the criminal acts.
