The Municipal Group MC Cartagena has claimed this morning, during the celebration of the ordinary plenary session of the City of Cartagena, the need for the municipal government to continue the work begun by the training Cartagena for the benefit of a sustainable municipality and to protect the environment .
Today, World Tree Day, MC has shown the Plenary two copies of Sabina Mora as a sign of the commitment of this training for the recovery of the plant cover of the municipality.

Given the lack of response, the Cartagena councilman has demanded to know when it is going to provide all the required information to the Delegate Councilor for the Environment through a letter sent on June 14;
if the local government knows that there are associations and individuals watering on their own and at their own expense because the City Council fails to fulfill its commitment to irrigation and if there is "any other plan in terms of reforestation other than letting those that have been made die".
The only concrete response of the socialist mayor Obdulia Gómez is that Calderón will be dismissed as president of the Reforestation Board.
On the other hand, the Plenary has contemplated the reading of an institutional declaration, backed by all the municipal groups, on the occasion of the International LGTBI Pride Day.
The Plenary requested, at the proposal of MC, that Cartagena have a Sub-delegation of the Government
MC Cartagena has demanded this morning to proceed to the creation of a Sub-delegation of the Government in Cartagena, a proposal that has had the support of the groups of the Corporation, with the exception of C's and PP.
Regarding C's, it should be mentioned that this formation was committed, during the Board of Spokesmen, to support the initiative if, as José López explained, "we included a sentence in which we said that what we asked for was legal".
However, Lopez said, the municipal spokesman of C's, Manuel Padín, said this morning that this municipal group failed to fulfill its commitment because "they have not given permission from Murcia to request a sub-delegation of the Government for Cartagena."
The implementation of this body, which would come to optimize management, is covered in Article 69 of the Law on Public Sector Legal Regime and is fully justified in the region of Cartagena for issues such as population, management volume and social, geographical and economic singularities.

Coordination between administrations so that the degree in Tourism of the UPCT begins next year
The Plenary has unanimously endorsed an institutional declaration to demand the implementation of the degree of Tourism in the UPCT.
In this sense, at the initiative of MC, the Interuniversity Council of the Murcia Region will be urged to foresee and prepare all procedures to be implemented, after approval by the Council of Universities, to avoid delays that harm the implementation in the course 2018/2019 of the Tourism Degree in the UPCT.
The MC proposal has made it possible for this institutional statement to remember, as Ricardo Segado pointed out earlier, that "there is a lack of a regional procedure, approval by the Interuniversity Council, which must be prepared to act quickly and diligently to ensure that the students, the University and Cartagena do not lose a year because of the political games of PP and PSOE that hurt us so much every day ".
Since the study of tourism in Cartagena was discontinued in 2015, the UPCT has worked, with the support of businessmen and institutions, in the implementation of a Degree in Tourism, which would be the only one to be taught in a public university of the Region.

On the other hand, in relation to the declarations made on June 7 by the socialist mayor Obdulia Gómez, in which she accused MC of having the City Council paralyzed with unpaid bills, in addition to "pressuring" companies, Isabel García has asked the councilor of the PSOE if he continues to maintain these "unfortunate statements or will take advantage of this plenary to retract and apologize for his audacity to defend your mayor."
The socialist mayor has not been able in her response to specify which invoices she was referring to, also failing in her accusations about supposed pressures on companies.
Regarding the situation of the pool of La Aljorra, whose delay to undertake urgent actions on the roof of this infrastructure has already reached eight months, despite having the approval of the project, Ricardo Segado has been interested in the intentions of the Government municipal on this installation, by when the local Executive foresees that the works begin and on the reasons why this action has not been undertaken before, without finding any concrete response.
