Pride 2018 will culminate this weekend in Cartagena with the Proclamation and the Manifestation of the LGTBI Pride, which will tour the main streets of the city on Saturday.
For a few days, in the Plaza del Ayuntamiento, the rainbow flag and the TRANS collective wave.
Also, from this Thursday, June 28 and until Saturday, June 30, the facade of the Consistorial Palace and the replica of the Submarine Peral on the Paseo de Alfonso XIII, will be illuminated with the colors of the rainbow.
And all with it in order to give visibility to the groups that fight for the rights of gays, lesbians, transsexuals and bisexuals.
In addition, this weekend will be two of the activities that most people concentrate: the Proclamation and the Manifestation EnorgulleCT.
All these activities are part of the EnorgulleCT 2018 program, which has the collaboration of the City of Cartagena.
The acts were opened on Thursday, June 21, with the raising of flags on the masts of the Palace Hall, an event that was attended by members of the Municipal Corporation and also the organizing entity, the GALACTYCO Collective.
This weekend the events with the highest visibility of EnorgulleCT 2018 will take place. On Friday, June 29, the Proclamation will be held, which will be carried out by LGTB activist and film director from Cartagena, Rut Nadal.
It will be at the Explanada del Puerto at 22:00 hours.
Previously, choreographic dances can be seen.
On the same stage, from 11pm on, Luis Miguélez, the DJ José Sánchez and the Ogra who achieves everything, will also act as presenter and entertainer so that the audience can have fun throughout the night.
To conclude this week of protest on Saturday, June 30, will take place the Manifestation EnorgulleCT with the slogan 'Conquering equality, transforming society', which will travel the main streets of downtown Cartagena.
The parade of participants and floats will begin at 7:30 p.m. starting from the Puertas de Madrid.
This demonstration, the oldest in the Region of Murcia and the Spanish southeast, this year celebrates its tenth edition.
The march will conclude with the reading of the manifest on the Port Esplanade.
The Great Party will also be held next to the port of Cartagena with the performances of the artists Keunam, Nancys Supremas, Salva Gascó and Dj Lucía Ponce.
With the party on Saturday night, the activities of the EnorgulleCT 2018 will culminate.
