This morning, the secretary general of MC Cartagena, José López, has moved the positioning of his training after learning that the High Court of Justice of the Region has dismissed the municipal appeal, confirming at the time, the ruling of the Court of Contentious Administrative Number 1 of Cartagena, in August 2017, condemned the City Council to pay 3.4 million euros to two companies for having canceled the construction license of 24 tourist apartments in La Azohía.
That action, responsibility of the current president of the Port Authority of Cartagena and president of the local PP, Joaquín Segado, at that time councilor of Urbanism of Barreiro, involved the change in the classification of the plot from private to public.
At this juncture, and before the serious damage caused to the municipal coffers by the leader of the PP in Cartagena, the general secretary of MC, José López, said that "PP urbanism is still costing us Cartagena millions of euros."
He continued by saying that, although "Alonso and Barreiro already seem to be out of circulation, Joaquín Segado is still there, the political leader of this 'cacicada' in La Azohía that will cost us around 4 million euros, adding interest and coasts ".
Immediately afterwards, he stated that "I understand that Mr. Segado will immediately resign from his post and will abandon public life because, in addition to approving a canceled plan that is compromising the development of the municipality and costing us € 8,000 a month with his generous salary, from this sentence we know that all citizens of Cartagena will lose services worth 4 million to pay for their excesses in management.
"If not," continued the Cartagena leader, "they should stop immediately, for their present ineptitude, demonstrated by keeping asbestos in the open air next to the workers in Peñarroya and last, because politicians like him cost us health and money, and that's fine. "
