The Center for Natural Therapy and Manuals (TENAC) has handed out the diplomas to the students who during the course of 2017/18 have been trained in chiromassage, naturopathy, sports massage, spa massage, reflex therapies, bach flowers and other Natural therapies.
The students of this training have been granted a scholarship by TENAC thanks to the collaboration of the Network of Specialized Care Centers for Women Victims of Gender Violence of the Department of Equality of the City of Cartagena.
The mayor of Cartagena and Councilor for Equality, Ana Belén Castejón;
has presented the diplomas with the director of TENAC, Mari Paz Cabanillas, in the Business Incubator for Women.
Ana Belén Castejón stressed that the local administration and TENAC work tirelessly so that the women who have been trained do not feel excluded, feel empowered and can work for themselves.
The mayor emphasized the need to remind these women, after finishing the course on Wednesday, to trust in themselves and continue on the path of knowledge.
For his part, Mari Paz Cabanillas, stressed that about 70-80% of students have found after the courses a job, because TENAC has a job board and agreements through which, centers such as hotels or spas contact the school for Holy Week to request a list of students who can join to work.
