Teresa Borque Díaz has won the poster competition that the Artillery Cross has organized for its 17th edition, as agreed by the jury by a majority in the meeting held on the morning of June 25 to that effect.
The poster will be the image of the XVII edition of the popular race with which the City of Cartagena collaborates, through its Department of Sports.
Borque will receive an economic prize of 300 euros and a trophy for having won the Cross poster contest, which will be held on Sunday, November 25, 2018.
THE WINNER
Teresa Borque, a native of El Ferrol, currently resides in Valencia and has studied Interior Architecture at the School of Design in Valencia.
Although he is dedicated to interior design, he declares that illustration is part of his designs.
He has illustrated a storybook, collaborates in an events magazine creating and designing spaces, logos, posters, creating corporate images or illustrating signature books for companies, weddings, communions and baptisms.
Previously he had won a contest for a comparsa of the festivities of Moors and Christians of Torrente.
CHANGE IN THE DATE OF CARRYING OUT THE TEST
Although it had been announced as a date of celebration on November 18, the activities of the general plan of instruction of the Antiaircraft Artillery Regiment No. 73, which is the bulk of the staff for the preparation of the test, with the fact that who is on that date performing a tactical exercise in Huelva, have relegated the race to the following weekend, so the XVII edition of the Cross of the Artillery will be held on Sunday, November 25, 2018.
UNUSED CANICROSS
Another important novelty of this edition is that the Canicross test is suppressed.
This type of race had been held since 2008 and although it is one of the most demanded by fans, the organization has decided to dispense with it mainly attending to security and organization reasons.
REGISTRATIONS FROM SEPTEMBER
The registration period will open in September, maintaining the quotas of previous years and will increase as the date of the race approaches.
The organization hopes to once again record a record of participation in what is the most multitudinous race in the Region, turning that day into a real celebration in which to enjoy sports in a festive and family atmosphere.
