This Saturday, June 30 will be the third edition of the Baobattle, a Charity Break Championship in favor of the Baobab Action NGO, which aims to maintain the project 'The House of Children' in Madagascar.
The event is organized by the City of Cartagena, through the Youth Council.
On this occasion, the championship will be played in the 2Vs 2 modality and will take place from 20:00 in the Urban Sports Park of Carlos III Street (Skate Park).
To put rhythm to the championship will be the albums Dj Rafaka (Outsizer, Molina Segura) and the micro Piña (Rock6tenz, Alicante).
Also, those in charge of issuing the final decision will be: Bboy Rico (Skill Cypher, Murcia), Bboy Somalias (Malaganzters, Almería) and Bboy JoseRap (Special K, Valencia).
In the contest, which last year enjoyed great public acceptance and participants from all parts of Spain, there will be trophies for the first and second classified.
Tickets to attend as a public consist of a donation of € 3 for individual tickets, € 1 for children and € 6 for families.
Baobab Action, a project to which the funds raised will be destined, is a non-governmental and non-profit organization for development aid formed by volunteers from Cartagena, established in 2010. Its objective is the dissemination of the Malagasy reality, inhabitants of the island of Madagascar, and obtain funds to maintain its project of The House of Children, which cares for 114 Malagasy children in need.
This Saturday, Malagasy crafts will be exhibited and sold at the event.
The Baobattle will present, exclusively for its participants, the Break championship to be held on October 6th, within the activities programmed in the UrbanCTFest, which will take place at the Skate track in Cartagena on Carlos III Street.
It is the second edition of a festival of urban culture with more than 20 modalities and activities.
In addition, as a novelty, this year will be added to the prize of 3Vs 3 one of Best Bboy or Bgirl, and another Special Kids for children under 14 years.
