The Vicente Ros School has closed this Friday, June 22, its cultural week dedicated to Cartagena, in which they have been carrying out various activities that have as main motive the municipality and its citizenship, and that the mayor of Cartagena, Ana Belén Castejón, He has known firsthand.
Ana Belén Castejón has been received with a song performed by the children of the first section of children - which covers first, second and third primary school - of this educational center.
The students have shown the mayor the plastic activities they have carried out during this week and have used their presence to ask her questions about her work as mayor and how she combines family and work life, among other issues.
Ana Belén Castejón has given account to the students and the faculty of the steps that she is carrying out together with the Ministry of Education so that the Vicente Ros School can have a school cafeteria, and she has told them that if the management continues as planned , you can have it for the beginning of the next course.
Subsequently, the students have delivered a bouquet of flowers to the council, along with a personalized t-shirt from the educational center and several compilations of drawings from Cartagena before the eyes of a child.
The mayor thanked this gesture and invited the children to attend the Town Hall soon.
Finally, sixth grade students, who this year have graduated from the school and will go to the institute, have represented a small work in which they have offered the most relevant details and curiosities of the modernist buildings of Cartagena, before the eyes of the mayor, the faculty and the rest of the students.
