The Fiestas of the deputation of La Puebla in honor of the Sacred Heart of Jesus begin their big week next Friday, June 22 and continue until July 1.
The inauguration of the festive venue will take place on Friday June 22 and includes the Opening of the Festival, which will be borne by the mayor of Cartagena, Ana Belén Castejón, and will kick off a party full of music, humor shows and children's activities.
In addition, during this night will also be the Grand Coronation Gala and imposition of bands to the Romera of the year 2018, Sponsors of the Festival, Court of Honor for Children and Juvenile Court of Honor.
On Saturday, June 23, the traditional Misa Rociera will be celebrated, with the performance of the Rociero Choir and in which the Offering for the benefit of Cáritas Parroquial will be held.
At 23:00, the comedian will put the comedian Jaimito Borromeo, this consecrated artist will perform in the precinct of the Fiestas before all the neighbors and visitors of La Puebla.
As a novelty, this year, for the first time will celebrate the Night of San Juan with the activity 'Special Lanterns' in which these famous luminous objects will be launched on the air, so that the desires of all participants are fulfilled.
It will be already on Sunday, June 24, when the XXX Pilgrimage of Santa María del Buen Aire will be celebrated, in which the pilgrims will gather the Virgin in the Church and will accompany her throughout the town to the Precinct.
At the end of the tour, horsemen and carriage drivers will be given a snack.
When this activity concludes, the Paella Contest will take place.
During the week there will be children's activities in the afternoon.
Children can participate and witness theater performances, fair attractions and a great chocolate, among others.
Eggs, sausages and bread can be tasted on Thursday, June 28 starting at 9:30 p.m., after which the participants will stifle the heat with the Fiesta de la Espuma.
On Friday there will be the Flower Offering to the Patron, by the different Associations of the town and all the Peñas, wearing the typical costume of La Puebla.
At the end of the afternoon the Great Talent Night will be celebrated, with the performance of José Guerrero.
The celebration of the Sacred Heart of Jesus will take place on Saturday, June 30, in a day that will begin at 8:00 am with Diana Floreada.
At 2:00 p.m. 300 servings of paella will be served, at 1 € per serving, which will be followed by the Water Festival.
The Youth Night in La Puebla will also be held on Saturday with a "spectacular" summer play, to welcome the summer with performances by several DJs.
The last day of the festivities will have as protagonists the classic vehicles with the Concentration of Antique Motorcycles, which will walk around the town.
In addition, on Sunday will also open the Plaza de D. Juan López Gambín, which will precede a mass in his memory.
With the Castle End of Parties that will be launched at midnight will be the end of the festivities of La Puebla 2018.
