The facade of the Consistorial Palace was illuminated in blue, yesterday, June 20, to show the support of the consistory to the refugees and it will be green, today, June 21, for the patients of the Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS).
On Wednesday, June 20, within the activities of the World Refugee Day, the front of the emblematic building shone blue.
On Thursday, June 21, on the occasion of the World Day, Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis - ELA, will light up in green.
The objective of this initiative is to sensitize the public and make known this neurodegenerative disease that causes a progressive weakness that advances to the total paralysis of the patient.
Currently, the ELA has no cause or known cure, so the sick hope to give visibility to the disease with acts such as the lighting of the Consistorial Palace green and get the research to get the cure to advance.
