The Association of Elders of El Albujón held yesterday, June 19, its traditional meal of coexistence in the framework of the celebration of the Fiestas of the town.
The mayor of Cartagena and Councilor for Social Services, Ana Belén Castejón, went to this appointment with the residents of El Albujón and handed over a plaque to Francisco Terrón Nicolás, elected Mayor of the festivities this year.
The parties will continue on Saturday, June 23, with the celebration of the Night of San Juan.
In addition, the Floral Offering will be held, which will be accompanied by the Tuna.
It will be at 22:00 hours when the contest of crumbs will proceed and just at midnight the Castle of fireworks and the Burning of Juan and Juana will be launched.
The day of San Juan, June 24, the day will begin very early with Diana Floreada through the streets of the town after which the mass will take place in honor of San Juan, patron of the town.
In the afternoon the procession will be celebrated and to close the festivities of 2018 the Grand Trace will be launched.
