The regional management of IU-Green through its Organization Secretary Victoria Rodríguez, has denounced the complicity between REPSOL and the Regional Administration to minimize the importance of the last "incident" of June 12 in the Valley of Escombreras, to which already add to many other "incidents" happened in the petrochemical complex, and will pass like many others without debugging responsibilities ".
Victoria Rodriguez has also denounced the misinformation about what happened, which once again generated uncertainty among the neighbors of the nearest towns.
IU-Greens in Cartagena highlights the tremendous irresponsibility of the Regional Administration that allows that in each incident the measuring stations, do not measure, that the protocols do not work, that the neighbors are not informed, that the notices are not given to the population, nor are actions coordinated when the Escombreras Valley Emergency Plan is activated.
From IU-Greens we demand that responsibilities be cleared once and for all, and an independent and independent investigation commission be appointed to review the protocols of action;
and also that the right to information of the population is guaranteed and an environmental protection project is designed in the Escombreras Valley.
