The Mayor of Cartagena, Ana Belén Castejón, received today 12 June at 12:30 in the Consistorial Palace the 16 students of the mobility program ERASMUS (+), who have done internships in the hospitality sector, socio-health care and gardening in companies Italy and Portugal.
The mayor said that this learning has doubled because they have lived the experience and have learned languages, something very important in a municipality like Cartagena, which is one of the favorite destinations for tourism.
This program, which is managed by the Agency of Local Development and Employment (ADLE), aims to carry out internships in companies of the European Union and the sector of the degree obtained during training.
Ten of the trainees have completed their internships in Braga, Portugal, and the other six in Arezzo, Italy, with a grant that has covered the travel grant, accommodation, language preparation course both in destination and host, search for companies and tutoring practices and pocket money.
The Portuguese companies where the internships have been carried out are the Social and Cultural Center of Santo Adrião, Casa do Professor - Restaurant, Propicía Triunfo Restaurant, Lda and Municipal Chamber of Braga.
Also, the Italian companies have been Arezzo.
