Cartagena have signed their ticket to the final to fight for the promotion to Second Division with a goal by José Gaspar in the minute 5. The albinegro team met on Sunday in Cartagonova, Celta B in the second leg of the second Play Off phase.
Faced with a crowded municipal stadium, the Efesé was ahead of his rival, Celta B, with whom he disputed the promotion to Second after tying to zero in Vigo.
With this victory the local team has a new opportunity to ascend after having fallen in the knockout round against Rayo Majadahonda.
The mayor of Cartagena, Ana Belén Castejón, attended the meeting;
the mayor of Deportes, Obdulia Gómez;
the councilor of the Economic Strategy and Finance area, M.ª Carmen Martín;
the mayor of Sustainable Development and Public Function, Francisco Aznar.
Cheering on the Cartagonova were also other members of the municipal government, such as Francisco Espejo, Carolina Palazón, Esperanza Nieto, Alvaro Valdés, Francisco Calderón, Ricardo Segado, María José Soler and Manuel Padín.
In the first leg of the final, Cartagena will face Extremadura in Almendralejo and the return will be played at the Cartagonova municipal stadium.
In the other final they are Elche and Villarreal B. The winners of both eliminatory will be next to Mallorca and Rayo Majadahonda in Second Division A.
