The Permanent Headquarters of the Menéndez Pelayo International University in Cartagena has organized together with the Neurology Association of Cartagena, the I Course of Neuroimmunology: "Update in the Treatment of Multiple Sclerosis".
Under the direction of Dr. Pérez Vicente, Head of the Neurology Service of the Hospital of Santa Lucía, more than twenty experts in the treatment of Multiple Sclerosis have come together to inform more than seventy neurologists of the advances they have made in combating the disease. reduce its effects on the patient.
The course, which has been developed throughout today, June 8, has had at its opening ceremony with the presence of the mayor of the area of ​​Sustainable Development and Public Function, Francisco Aznar;
the Vice-Chancellor of University Extension of the UIMP, Francisca G. Caballero;
and the Manager of the Area of ​​Health II of Cartagena, José Sedes Romero.
This course is part of the annual activities planned by the Menéndez Pelayo International University in Cartagena and fulfilling its objective of serving society through the dissemination of science and high culture, both nationally and internationally, making Cartagena as a point of reference for the study of health advances as already done with anesthesiology, cardiology and rheumatology.
