and in which 3,516 football players collected, 77 templates and 26 family sagas appear |
The Cartagena Angel Roig Meca has published a graphic collection of FC Cartagena from 1906 to 2010 in which he has included more than 3,400 images, 2,773 photographs, 634 engravings and documents and 110 statistical tables;
and in which 3,516 players appear, 77 templates and 26 family sagas.
This Friday, June 8, the presentation of the book took place, as well as the activities that the club will carry out on the occasion of the centenary of the Cartagena EFESÉ.
The presentation has been carried out by the mayor of Cartagena, Ana Beln Castejn, who has been accompanied by the general director of Sports, Alonso Gmez;
and the author of the book, ngel Roig.
The mayor congratulated ngel Roig and highlighted the trajectory of EFESÉ, in which there have been "many lights and some shadows", and he recalled his great promotions to the Second Division, such as that of 1982, which marked the beginning of his great golden age and lasted until 1988.
He also pointed out that despite the ups and downs of the evolution of any club, at present FC Cartagena is a live club, with a quarry in permanent development that has 14 federated teams and a Football School.
For his part, Angel Roig has stressed that this collection is eminently graphic and that it includes family sagas of soccer players ranging from great-grandparents to great-grandchildren, resulting in a project that places people in the center, beyond the results.
The compilation has been prepared based on the personal file of ngel Roig and the book is for sale at Librera Alcaraz and at the Librera Centro for 30 euros.
