The Senior Associations of Cartagena celebrated on Thursday, June 7, a day of coexistence in the camp of Caritas in Los Urrutias, an event organized by the City of Cartagena through the Department of Social Services, to dismiss the course 2017/2018 in the senior clubs.
The social event was attended by the mayor, Ana Belén Castejón, who shared a day of meeting and interaction with around 800 seniors belonging to 34 clubs, as well as Day Care Centers of the Algar and Los Dolores.
After receiving the participants with a souvenir detail, the activities began at 11 am with a table of gerontogimnasia by a monitor of the Department of Sports.
Throughout the morning there were various activities such as: stroll along the beach and surroundings, board games, petanque, the healthy creative workshop: "Dancing for the World" that will give TUNSTALL - TELEVIDA, a craft market and blood glucose and blood pressure measurements. the people who wanted to SODICAR.
Later, the attendees enjoyed a great paella and a musical show by a showman of the Gemini Duo, followed by a dance contest for the attendees.
At around 6:30 p.m. the day came to an end with the presentation of trophies of the dance contest and the farewell to the attendees.
