More than a score of youth associations in Cartagena today moved their proposals for the Youth Plan of the Region of Murcia 2019-2023 in a meeting with the Minister of Transparency, Participation and Spokesperson, Noelia Arroyo, and the Director General of Youth, Francisco Sánchez
The meeting, held at the Youth Resource Center of Cartagena, was attended by representatives of Columbares Cartagena, Scout Imhlala Panzi, Institute of Artistic Expression of the Southeast, Rascasa Association, La Palma Youth Platform, Cartagena Excursionist Center, Cartagena Astronomical Association, Youth Association Drums Quillo, Socialist Youth or the Jadico Youth Association, among others.
The plan is currently in the process of citizen participation.
In the process of creation can participate all the people who want to contribute their opinion through the Portal of Transparency of the Region of Murcia.
"This June will end the public consultation through the Transparency Portal and during the summer months the final document will be prepared, which will be presented in September," said Noelia Arroyo, who stressed that it is "an ambitious plan, made for and for young people. "
The Minister of Participation also stressed that it is a plan "pioneer at the national level, since the protagonists are young people, who are the future of the Region of Murcia, where more than 25 percent of the population has between 14 and 36 years".
