Reforestation in the hill of the Moors
Citizens have requested that it proceed as a matter of urgency to meet the needs of irrigation of the trees of the hill of the Moors, as well as extreme measures of control and maintenance to all plantations and reforestations that have been made and carried out in the future in our municipality.
"Nature has no political color, and can not pay the consequences of the conflicts between the parties," said Manuel Padin, spokesman for Citizens in the Plenary.
At the beginning of last December, actions of plantation and reforestation with native flora began in the hill of the Moors with the collaboration of the City of Cartagena, the associations CREECT, ANSE, AFORCA and many neighbors, including members of Citizens.
Unfortunately, in recent dates, after the spokesman of cs Cartagena went to the place to check the status and evolution of these plantations, he found a worrying lack of maintenance and irrigation.
Dangerous stair
Cs has asked, through a request, to arrange, as soon as possible, the stairway located at the connection between Calle del Aire and Calle Mayor de Los Barreros due to its poor condition and the danger it causes.
This staircase is close to the public school San Francisco Javier, and they are in a sorry state.

In addition, orange training has asked to be taken into account when programming the pruning of trees throughout the municipality, especially those in urban areas of Cartagena, the need for summer shade due to the high temperatures we reach in our city , and that the prunings are carried out at the beginning of the year to ensure plant cover during the summer.
