The entrance exams to the University return.
1,465 students are examined in the UPCT starting this Friday of the general phase of the Bachelor's Assessment for Access to the University, known as Selectividad.
The exams will be held on Friday, Monday and Tuesday, at the Campus Muralla del Mar.
The students that are examined in the two UPCT offices, located in the Industrial and Telecommunication schools, come from 42 Secondary, Baccalaureate and Vocational Training centers of the municipalities of Cartagena, Torre Pacheco, Los Alcázares, San Javier, San Pedro of the Pinatar, Fuente Álamo and La Unión.
This year, in Cartagena, they put their knowledge to the test, in the general phase, 48 more students than last June, an increase of 3.3%.
The general phase includes the subjects that all students have to examine and which scores up to 10 points, according to the UPCT coordinator Eduardo Pérez Pardo.
Regarding the optional subjects, the 17% increase at the regional level among the students who are going to examine Technical Drawing, a common subject for the majority of engineering courses taught by the Polytechnic of Cartagena, stands out.
Throughout the Region of Murcia, 6,682 students were examined as of this Friday, 6.9% more than in the same phase of the previous academic year.
Subjects
On Friday 8th the students are summoned at 9:00 a.m. to do the Spanish Language and Literature II exercise and at 11:45 p.m. for the History of Spain.
Friday exams will be the language exams.
At 16:30 English, and at 18:45 French, German and Italian.
On Monday, the modality exams will take place.
The day begins with the Mathematics and Latin tests, depending on the Bachillerato of each student.
Next, those of Mathematics applied to Social Sciences and Fundamentals of Art.
In the afternoon, those of Technical Drawing and History of Philosophy, followed by those of Physics and History of Art.
Finally, on Tuesday 12 will be conducted examinations of Biology, Business Economics, Greek, Performing Arts, Chemistry, Geography, Geology, Design and Audiovisual Culture.
Notes
The results of the tests will be published on June 19 at 9:00 am through the 'Durm Access' application for smartphones.
Those students wishing to request a second correction must do so until June 21 at 2:00 p.m.
Students who have not requested a second correction will be able to download their digitally signed report card through the web, starting at 18:00 hours on June 21st.
