NAVANTIA embarks the engines of the first of the AOR for Australia (06/06/2018)

The NAVANTIA Motors Factory in Cartagena has proceeded to send to Ferrol the two diesel propulsion engines built for the first AOR-type vessel (Auxiliary Oil Replineshment), which is being built by NAVANTIA for the Australian Navy. Galician facilities.

The construction of these ships, inspired by the supply ship 'Cantabria', of the Spanish Navy, supposes a work load for NAVANTIA and its auxiliary industry of, approximately, three million hours and four years of work, to which there is They add their maintenance in Australia for a period of five years.
