The deputation of La Palma hosted on Sunday June 3 the IV Cross Campo de Cartagena - La Palma, in which more than 350 people participated.
The mayor of Cartagena, Ana Belén Castejón, attended the sporting event;
who was with the President of the Neighborhood Board of La Palma, Pedro Obradors, and the President of AD Ceodelpa, José Miguel Meroño.
The mayor presented a bouquet in memory of Vicente Solano González, who collaborated with the sport altruistically from the Club Ciclista de la Palma and was co-founder of the Codelpa Sports Association.
As for the race, in the general race, the first to reach the finish line was Zacarías Rqiq, who took 19 minutes and 23 seconds;
followed by José Antonio Agüera, who scored 20 minutes and 25 seconds;
and Javier Navarro, who finished with 20 minutes and 41 seconds.
The cadet-infant Alejandro Pérez finished in first place in 5 minutes and 20 seconds;
followed by José Antonio Nicolás, in 5 minutes and 22 seconds;
and Raúl Armero, in 5 minutes and 26 seconds.
In the alevines category, Hugo Marín arrived first at the finish with a 2 minute mark;
followed by Marta Crespo, who crossed in 2 minutes and 2 seconds and Adderahim Miri, who was the third to arrive in 2 minutes and 7 seconds.
Benjamin Rafael Fernandez reached the finish line in his category with a mark of 2 minutes and 10 seconds;
followed by Juan José Sevilla, with 2 minutes and 14 seconds;
and Olaya Portela, who crossed in the minute 2 and 16 seconds.
