The Polytechnic IES and the Polytechnic University of Cartagena have joined forces to present an exhibition of Ultra-efficient Electric Vehicles next Friday, June 1, within the framework of the festival Much More May, which this year has as its main motto "Interdependent, Ecodependientes".
The objective of this project is to create vehicles that work correctly and are a real and sustainable alternative to the existing car model.
The activity will take place from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the Town Hall Square and, every half hour, you can see these cars in action on a circuit created around the Town Hall.
This activity will consist of an exhibition and sample of the vehicles developed by students, such as the vehicles "Asdrubal" (IES Polytechnic) and "Anibal" (Polytechnic University of Cartagena).
It is a sample of the high technological innovation capacity that is developed in the educational centers of the municipality of Cartagena.
These electric vehicles have competed in international events such as Solar Race, Shell Eco Marathon, Madrid Ecocity, among others.
The objective of these competitions is to make the greatest number of kilometers with the lowest possible energy consumption.
The consumption of these cars is so low that they could reach France with only one euro in electricity recharges.
