The training will be held at the Los Dolores Campus on June 5 and, although it is open to the entire population, it is aimed especially at students of Physical Activity and Sports Sciences, who in the future may work as teachers of Education Physics, as well as students of Degree in Primary Education and the Degree and Higher FP of Early Childhood Education.
The San Antonio Catholic University has scheduled for June 5 a summer course on first aid in Early Childhood, Primary and Secondary Education, which will be held at the Campus of Los Dolores in intensive day from 9 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. with the objective of prepare current and future teachers on how to act in the event of an unforeseen sanitary situation.
The inscriptions are already open and can be done on the website cartagena.ucam.edu.
The agenda of this event includes acquiring knowledge about the OVACE DEA Basic Life Support RCP;
control techniques, protocol and organization of the emergency system;
first aid kit, hemorrhages, immobilizations, mobilizations, injuries, burns, basic assessment in injury from injuries and physical, chemical, mechanical and biological agents, alterations of consciousness, convulsive symptoms, as well as shock, chest pain and stroke.
In addition, there will be a practical training on CPR and DESA.
Learning the basic principles of first aid, knowing how to act in case of emergency, mastering first aid practices and working in the classroom with first aid are the objectives set by those responsible for this course, Sonia Martínez Castro and Irene Castañón Rubio , for teachers.
